Feelings of a Girl

A fear that can never be overcomed.
A love that is impossible to betray.
A passion so intimate that it is unable to be expressed.
An emotion so deep that it can make anyone drop dead.
A willingness to die any death, suffer any hardship, and endure any pain for this fear, love, passion, and emotion.
These are the feelings of a girl towards her CREATOR.

With every heart-beat....

Sitting on a prayer mat
Desiring for you to be my friend
With every heart-beat echoing your name

What a shame!
My faithfulness towards you twickers
Each time I glance elsewhere
Your Direction is what I seek
With every heart-beat my heart awaits your Guidance

What a shame!
How can the soul ever feel alone?
When you're there to answer every call
Your Love is what I need
With every heart-beat my heart yearns for your closeness

What a shame!
I sin left and right
Drowning in heedlessness.
Your Mercy is what I want
With every heart-beat my heart begs for forgiveness

To be continued....

Loving for Allah's sake.

Have you ever came across a fellow muslim that you automatically "clicked" with?
A sense of familiarity with them without even a known past together?
A sense of tranquility they bring to your heart just by speaking to them for the sake of Allah(SWT)?
Encourgement to even become closer to Allah(SWT)?
Feels like your soul is naturally attracted to their company?
Do you know that according to a hadith all the armies of the souls had once been assembled together?
Those who recognized one another in that realm have a mutual affection in this world while those who had developed no affinity there, remain strangers even here.

*Post dedicated to my sisters in Islam whom I love soley for the sake of Allah(SWT)*

Abstinence from the world.

Short on time. Came across this hadith...subhan'Allah

"Excercise abstinence from the world and Allah will love you, and obstain from what people have and they will love you (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah)."
