Sins lead to misery
Sins lead to misery in this world and hereafter. Your heart becomes darker and darker until you repent. Your left with sorrow, regret, and loss of self-respect. It is only through the dhikr of Allah that the heart finds peace. Don't look for it elsewhere. Previously stated here.
Have low or no expectations from this dunya and its people. Insha'Allah you'll never be let down or disappointed. Tried and tested.

it goes both ways what if ppl expected something from you and you werent up to the expectatoins??
there are selfless people out there but not every heart recognizes the pearl. if you are one you are bound to find another. so dont put blame your philosophy might not applicable to everyone.

Then they should not be expecting much. =)Have low or no expectations from this dunya and its people- includes myself. It saves disappointment.
Everything in life is not about blame. Perhaps you misunderstood. The higher your expectations are, the more likely your willing to get hurt/disappointed when things don't go your way. Thats all it was meant to say. Not blaming anything or anyone.
